Charles and Brigitte were married 16 Jan 1897 at Notre Dame de Victoire Church in San Francisco, California. He was 28 and she was 25.
The church was founded in 1856 to serve the growing French Catholic community in San Francisco. The church was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire. It was rebuilt in 1915 and was designated a historical landmark in 1984.
