Alexandrina is my Great Great Aunt. She married into my Pacheco family. She was born in Ginetes, Sao Miguel Island, Azores sometime around 1866. She migrated with her parents to Kauai, HI in 1882. She married Antonio Pacheco in 1889 in Kealia. They settled down in Kilauea, where Antonio worked on the sugar plantation. In 1909, they were in Makaweli.
Around 1919, they migrated to Oakland, California. Their oldest child stayed in Hawaii, she was 29. Their youngest was just a year old. In all, she had 10 children, three of which did not survive more than a couple of years.
Alexandrinha lived a good, long life. She outlived Antonio. In her later years, she moved in with family in Stockton, CA. She died at the age of 81.
