A new book for Portuguese genealogist has been published. It’s called “Nobel Families of Portugal, Volume One: Abreu” by Manoel Jose da Costa Felgueiras Gaio. The book has been translated by Luis Pontes.

According to the website, the author who died in 1831, was well known genealogist. He compiled his work into a collection called Nobiliario de Familias de Portugal. The collection covered 500 families over 33 books. Those families span many generations with roots in Portugal and Spain. This translation not only includes Gaio’s work, but also historical and cultural information.

Volume One is 232 pages and costs $35. You’ll find more information at the publisher’s website:
