Many of us have sent in DNA samples in hopes of finding a 3rd cousin or breaking a brick wall. What if you were abandoned as a child and you just wanted to know where you came from and if you had any family out there?
That’s the backdrop of the short documentary film “The Missing Piece”. Two Korean women who were abandoned as children do DNA tests to see if they can reconnect with family and their own personal history.
This is their story.

This is wonderful documentary follows their journey and how they rediscover a part of themselves that they had lost when adopted.
It shows that for some DNA testing is the only way they can find out who they were and where they belong.
