Familysearch.org has a new database for Hawaii genealogists. It is “Hawaii, Obituaries Index, ca 19890 to Present”. It indexes obituaries from “Honolulu Advertiser, The Honolulu Star-Bulletin, The Kauai Garden Island News, The Maui News and The Hawaii Tribune-Herald” according to the description at the website.
Currently the collection as 41,146 entries. It is searchable by name with some extra fields for birth, death, etc.
