As you know, March is Women’s History Month. Many genea bloggers (including me) are participating in the Fearless Females monthly theme. As we write about the women in our family trees, we learn so much more about the special roles they played within the family and the community.
I’ve been writing a little here and there at Squidoo. I wanted to share my tribute to the women in my family tree that I created there. It’s called Honoring Women’s History Month. In this lens (what web pages are called on Squidoo, I’ve written about some of the strong women in my tree. I hope you’ll enjoy it. Leave a comment and let me know who the strong women in your own tree are.
Be sure to honor the women in your family tree this month and every month. We may have difficult researching them, but they are still very important to our history. It’s up to us to keep their stories alive.
