Hurricane Sandy is pounding the East Coast tonight like nothing we have ever seen. I was following Twitter #Sandy tonight and hearing some terrible stories. The photos are mind boggling. I don’t know what we will see tomorrow when the water recedes and the storm passes by.
I saw on Twitter that California’s Governor Brown already signed an executive order freeing up relief materials and workers for the East Coast. They will arrive soon.
To my family and friends out on the East Coast, know that you are not alone tonight. We are thinking about you and holding you in our prayer. Please be safe and dry. Follow the evacuation orders if they are given. Check in once you have a chance.
The West Coast is with you tonight even with only thoughts and prayers.
