I ask myself that sometimes especially after a week where I feel as if I’ve accomplished nothing. Lately, I have been recovering from the holidays. I have a form of arthritis and preparing for the holidays takes its toll on me.
In between, when I have some energy, I’ve been working on my French lines. I found France’s civil records online and have been slowly working through the villages in the Oloron region, primarily Ogeu les bains. I’m learning quite a bit about my ancestry and the culture. I’ve also learned that you can read foreign language records without knowing a spit about the language 😉
