In researching Catholic Church records in Hawaii, I found that knowing a little Latin goes a long way.  Yep, the early Catholic Church records are written in Latin.

So, this week, I’ve found a Latin dictionary to help you translate the early church records.  It’s Cassell’s Latin Dictionary.  1892, Cassell and Company : London, Paris, and Melbourne.
