There is big time partying going on in my household tonight! I decided that it would be great to end the year by backing up my important computer files. It’s been such a hectic year that I’m not even sure when I’ve done it last.
- I’ve created new backups of all my genealogy databases.
- I’ve put all the 2010 photograph folders into one main folder for 2010.
- I’ve moved my genealogy documents to the genealogy document main folder.
Doesn’t sound like a very exciting way to start the year, but it will give me piece of mind. I’ve already lost most of my 2008 photographs and some of the online research I did that same year when my hard drive crashed in early 2009. I don’t want to lose important stuff ever again.
