We Passed the 300 Member Mark!
I manage the Portuguese Hawaiian Genealogy Group on Facebook. I’m happy to announce that over the holiday weekend we reached a milesone. There are now 301 members signed up for the group. That’s 301 researchers working on their family tree who have Portuguese roots in Hawaii. Not bad, eh?
It’s a little surprising to me that we’ve reached such a high number. If you think about it Portuguese Hawaiian genealogy is just a small piece of the genealogy pie. It certainly isn’t as big a group as Irish Americans or even Portuguese Americans.
Our group has the Facebook wall where members communicate back and forth. We have a document set up so folks can add their surnames. They can also create their own documents. Members can also add their family photographs to the group album.
If you’d like to join the group, go to Facebook and search for Portuguese Hawaiian Genealogy. Or, you can use this link
